SaaS company Zoho to hire 2,000 employees in engineering, technology and product development

With nearly 10,000 employees worldwide, Zoho has a presence in India and the United States and has recently entered markets such as Egypt, Jeddah and Cape Town. Now, Zoho also aims to harness talent in rural India.
“Most talent in urban areas comes from villages and small towns. Companies need to seize opportunities where the talent is and invest in upskilling,” Ganti said.

Ganti also shed light on the company’s plans for fiscal year 2023, saying Zoho would continue to invest in a vertically integrated technology stack. “We are also investing in improving our audio/video capabilities, which have become critical to all business functions. In India, we are also investing in rural revival initiatives and creating a high-tech ecosystem in the country,” he noted.
It had recorded a 22.3% increase in revenue to Rs 5,230 crore in FY21, according to documents filed with the Registrar of Companies. For the same year, Zoho’s net profit was Rs 1,917.70 crore, more than double that of the previous year, making it arguably India’s most profitable unicorn.
