Kemitt expanded its eCommerce Offer using the B2B Platform

Egyptian eCommerce startup Kemitt has unveiled a B2B platform as part of its ongoing diversification beyond its B2C offering, according to a Disrupt Africa report on Monday (April 25).
The Kemitt online marketplace connects product and tool designers with consumers by handling manufacturing, overhead and last mile logistics for those companies. Customers have access to more than 30,000 SKUs with on-demand manufacturing options and 7- to 12-day delivery services.
Kemitt’s B2B marketplace features furniture, home accessories and materials, using an all-in-one platform that allows businesses to browse, discover and request quotes for products from to more than 400 suppliers. Users also have access to a range of financial solutions and payment options.
“It’s going to be a real game-changer in the furniture industry, and we’re really excited about the way manufacturers, suppliers, businesses, micro financing leaders, and all stakeholders are coming together. industry in one place, ”Mahmoud Fouad, CEO and co-founder of Kemitt, said in the report. “This is an important step in the evolution of our business.”

In January, Egyptian social commerce platform Brimore closed a $ 25 million Series A funding round that will be used to add products and suppliers and expand its app across Africa, double the number of employees, operate in three countries and strengthen its physical logistics capabilities by 2023.
Since its founding in 2019, Brimore says it has grown 400 times and created a network of nearly 75,000 resellers in 27 cities in Egypt, many in rural and remote parts of the country.

The digital marketplace uses a data-driven approach to help fashion merchants avoid procurement headaches.
Gahez’s platform provides brands and manufacturers with power sales, marketing and analysis solutions. The tools are intended to help companies streamline operations and target the best products for business growth.
